A couple planning their dream desert wedding for 150 guests chose an outdoor ceremony and reception on the resort's terraced grounds. The outdoor event space, while stunningly beautiful, had limited permanent restroom access for large gatherings. The couple needed supplemental portable restroom facilities — but with very specific requirements.
First, the restrooms had to match the venue's luxury aesthetic. Standard portable restrooms were out of the question for a wedding where every detail had been carefully curated. Hidden Placement Strategy
The key to this deployment was invisibility. Working with the venue's landscape team, we positioned all units behind a natural mesquite grove and existing adobe wall structure, approximately 100 feet from the reception area. The path to the restrooms was lined with luminarias and string lights that matched the wedding's décor theme, creating an intentional and attractive walkway rather than an obvious detour to portable facilities.
From every vantage point within the ceremony area, cocktail terrace, and reception space, the restroom units were completely hidden from view. Guests followed tasteful wayfinding signs along the lit pathway, arriving at facilities that looked and felt like a natural extension of the venue.
Day-Of Coordination
Our team arrived at 7:00 AM for setup — well before any wedding guests or vendors. Units were positioned, connected to power, stocked with premium supplies, and tested. The wedding planner's florist added fresh flower arrangements inside the luxury trailers to match the wedding's color palette.
A discrete service check occurred during the dinner hour (when restroom usage dips), ensuring everything was refreshed for the evening's dancing and celebration. Our team returned the following morning for removal, leaving no trace of the installation.
